What the Alliance Does

The Alliance of Chicago Community Health Services partners with over 30 community health centers across the nation to help them deliver efficient and effective primary care to hundreds of thousands of patients who are uninsured, underinsured or otherwise vulnerable.  Specifically, the Alliance hosts a range of mission critical software used by these clinics including Electronic Health Records (EHRs), Population-Based Health Management, Practice Management, Clinical Research and Business/Clinical Intelligence.

Current Alliance initiatives include the creation of an advanced data warehouse, the implementation of a patient portal, health information exchange, the integration of medical devices with the EHR, evaluation and research projects, and technical assistance to other providers and shared service centers.

The American Theological Library Association (ATLA) is a professional association providing support of theological and religious studies libraries and librarians.  ATLA produces a prestigious line of electronic resources to support the scholarly study of religion and theology.

In partnership with a team from IIT’s Institute of Design (ID), 94 Westbound Consulting is conducting primary user research to help the ATLA better understand the information needs of its end users, including university faculty and students.  ATLA plans to use the insights from this work to plan its next generation of information products.
